It aims to educate the public on environmental issues and creative features like the “Green Opportunity Card” and “I’m Feeling Lucky Card” also engage players to learn more about Central Singapore’s environmental programmes. All GRCs, town councils and prominent locations in 23 constituencies in the Central Singapore District are represented at the board. Participants at United Square Shopping Mall were also able to have a go at the newly launched board game at the Greenopoly corner at the carnival.

Everyone Plays a Part to Keep Central Singapore Clean & Green
At the heart of the carnival was the 3D Central Singapore Showcase piece, “Everyone Plays a Part to keep Central Singapore Clean & Green”, which was made up of 280 individual wooden blocks which formed the map of Singapore. Grassroots organisations, schools in Central Singapore District and our partners had signed on the respective individual blocks to pledge their commitment to keep Central Singapore Clean & Green. The showcase piece was completed when our GOH and VIPs signed and placed the last pieces onto the 3D structure.

The essential support from the Grassroots organisations, partners and community was represented in the core of the globe as the recycling movement would not have been successful without their commitment, contributions and support.
