Stolt-Nielsen Singapore Pte Ltd

Our Environment Care Committee was set up in Singapore by a group of employee volunteers. We actively promote and create environment care awareness via sharing sessions or publicity materials on "Reduce, Reuse and Recycle" initiatives and activities. Some of the activities organized this year include employees' participation in Earth Hour, a "Drive Less" contest and a visit to Semakau landfill. We also held an energy-saving competition for our employees, to encourage energy conservation at home. On a quarterly basis, we publish an in-house newsletter to communicate our activities to our employees all over the world.

Do-Yi Enterprise

We are always supporting green campaign activities; this collaborative effort brings together with our techno geeks to participate in waste minimisation. We have been invited to work along with privilege companies to fulfill its ECO-ITS plan; stay clean led winning! Do-Yi Enterprise ECO ITS STAR is the based provider of administrating recycling activities, removing, salvage unwanted electrical appliances, restoration equipment (computers notebook; LCDs) to find a better use. For past years, our goal is to provide a comprehensive range of environmental services tailored to meet the needs of our customers. To assure our clients working in a cleaner environment.

Ricoh Asia Pacific Pte Ltd / Ricoh Singapore Pte Ltd

Ricoh Asia Pacific Pte Ltd, together with Ricoh Singapore Pte Ltd has been conducting annual tree planting events for the past 5 years since 2004 in conjunction with Clean and Green Singapore. In 2008, the company mooted the inaugural "Tee for Trees" golf-and-tree-planting initiative for the 2008 Barclays Singapore Open, where Ricoh is the Official Office Solutions Provider. Golfers' scores directly translated into the total number of trees to be planted, with Ricoh pledging to plant a tree for every birdie, 5 trees for an eagle and 20 trees for an albatross and hole in one during the final day. Ricoh staff and families turned up to plant 200 trees in all on its joint Annual Tree Planting Day on 22 November at Mt Imbiah, Sentosa.

Nu Skin Enterprises Singapore Pte Ltd

In an effort to save our planet and saving trees, Nu Skin Singapore encourages shoppers to bring their own bags to pack their purchases on every Wednesday since Oct 2008. Nu Skin Singapore also design and custom-made their own Reusable Shopping Bags and sell this at a nominal fee. All the proceeds goes to Singapore Environment Council and the company's Force-For-Good Funds. In addition, Nu Skin also promotes the ideas of recycling by working with local recycling company in the collection of glass bottles from consumers. This can help to ensure proper glass waste disposal and support recycling acts.

TeeCube

In conjunction with the Clean and Green Singapore 2009, the National Environment Agency (NEA) and 77th Street(s) Pte Ltd teamed up with TeeCube.com to hold a Tee-Shirt Design competition in an effort to spread the message of Climate Change to youths through a medium they can relate to, fashion. "Fight Climate Change - Let's Make a Difference" was the theme of this competition. Pre contest publicity costs to various educational institutions and design schools, web hosting for the submission of the designs and online voting were kindly sponsored by TEECUBE with an estimated value of $10,000. Teecube.com continues to market the designs submitted under the contest with an aim of spreading the "Fight Climate Change" message to online users.

Green Cartridge Pte Ltd

Green Cartridge Pte Ltd collaborate with Singapore Bible College and Jurong Junior College by placing cartridge recycling bins around the schools. Green Cartridge Pte Ltd advocates waste reduction and management through proper cartridge disposal by collecting used cartridges.

Alpha Biofuels (S) Pte. Ltd.

Alpha Biofuels continues to be an important player in the local biodiesel industry. The company partnered with various schools to collect used cooking oil to produce biodiesel which can be used to power vehicles. This in turn reduce petrol consumption and reduce carbon emission in the long run.

Pfizer Asia Pacific Pte Ltd

Pfizer partnered with Jurongville Secondary School in the Corporate and Schools Partnership (CASP) Programme. We worked on project that promotes recycling through designing rubbish bins that are placed along parks connector.
